Growing... That's what Fidget is doing.
Or at least that's what I hope she's doing. Today has been a lot of sleeping and nursing. Everyone else in the house is sick, so here's to hoping she's growing and not getting sick!
And since I really have nothing new to share tonight, I thought I'd post a cute picture that was sent to me by Fidget's sitter lady. We really do need to come up with a cute name for her.

Hurray for GroBaby!
I'll admit, I've never used a GroBaby diaper. But when I came across this on YouTube I thought it was a cute, fun way to help raise awareness so I'm sharing it with you.
Maybe my next cloth diaper purchase will be a GroBaby. Wonder if they stock them at my (not so) local Whole Foods?

A girl and her cat
More than a mouthful
A week or so ago my thoughts of exclusively breastfeeding for the first 9 months went out the window. For weeks, Fidget has been grabbing at food, either on my plate or on the way to my mouth. She had really gotten to the point that she was pitching a fit about not eating and it wasn't pretty. So with the thoughts that she wasn't really eating at all during the day while I worked, she's still not taking a bottle afterall, we embarked on the grand journey that is baby food.
Our first food was avacado mixed with breastmilk. It went ok. Fidget was really excited that she was actually getting to taste the good stuff. Since then we've moved on to sweet potatoes. That's been our daily staple now for about a week. She's not getting much, but it is helping to tide her over during the day while I'm at work. Today we tried something new. Prunes. YUM.

Visiting Grandma & JoePa
Fidget and I spent this last weekend in Florida visiting Grandma and JoePa. In typical Florida fashion it was cold and rainy... yes, you read that right. Cold and rainy. The sun came out long enough to wander through the downtown Dunedin crap (I mean antique) fair and also downtown Clearwater's art walk. We missed the Jazz festival though due to the rain.

Grandma also helped pick out a Halloween costume for Fidget. I'm looking forward to seeing how she does both with the costume on and with all the other kids in costume. I guess we need to actually figure out what we're going to do for Halloween too, huh?

Hi Everyone!
I've been inspired. At least temporarily anyway. You see, a good friend of mine has these adorable blogs for each of her two children. She uses them as a "baby book" of sorts that allows her to keep track of what each of them do, as well as share pictures with family and friends. That would be perfect for me... provided I actually do it. So I'm going to give it a shot. Off we go...
