Fun in the Tub

Daddy's Version of Babysitting

Anyone notice the Xbox controller she's trying to "help" him with? Or the TV remote he tried to bribe her with?

Look what I can do!

So I told you I would try to keep up with this, and I've already fallen behind. I have a ton of pictures to share with you, but for now here's a quick update on all that you've missed.

Look what I can do!

I can roll over...

I can sit up on my own...

And I can STAND!!!

Growing... That's what Fidget is doing.

Or at least that's what I hope she's doing. Today has been a lot of sleeping and nursing. Everyone else in the house is sick, so here's to hoping she's growing and not getting sick!

And since I really have nothing new to share tonight, I thought I'd post a cute picture that was sent to me by Fidget's sitter lady. We really do need to come up with a cute name for her.

Hurray for GroBaby!

I'll admit, I've never used a GroBaby diaper. But when I came across this on YouTube I thought it was a cute, fun way to help raise awareness so I'm sharing it with you.

Maybe my next cloth diaper purchase will be a GroBaby. Wonder if they stock them at my (not so) local Whole Foods?

A girl and her cat

Not really much to say about this one, just wanted to share because it's too damn cute. Fidget has recently discovered the cats, and likes to grab their fur. I'd say the cats aren't thrilled, but clearly at least this one doesn't mind. And yes, they are both asleep.

More than a mouthful

A week or so ago my thoughts of exclusively breastfeeding for the first 9 months went out the window. For weeks, Fidget has been grabbing at food, either on my plate or on the way to my mouth. She had really gotten to the point that she was pitching a fit about not eating and it wasn't pretty. So with the thoughts that she wasn't really eating at all during the day while I worked, she's still not taking a bottle afterall, we embarked on the grand journey that is baby food.

Our first food was avacado mixed with breastmilk. It went ok. Fidget was really excited that she was actually getting to taste the good stuff. Since then we've moved on to sweet potatoes. That's been our daily staple now for about a week. She's not getting much, but it is helping to tide her over during the day while I'm at work. Today we tried something new. Prunes. YUM.
